NOURISH cares for all your needs in the kitchen, whether you’re at home, at the office or out and about while we’re chopping, whisking and cooking away. We work closely with you from the outset to ensure your healthy eating and/or weight loss goals are met and any food allergies, dietary restrictions, dislikes and particular preferences are accounted for. NOURISH is well-versed in providing delectable meals for all types of diets including gluten-free, lactose-free, kosher and vegan/vegetarian. We can also address high-cholesterol, high blood pressure, blood sugar, pregnancy, fitness training and other needs when devising menu plans. Additionally, if you have a personalized goal, whether it be an upcoming wedding or event, a need for expedited—but balanced—weight loss, or simply a week of “cleaner, greener” eating, we are happy to accommodate. In fact, that’s what we do best.

We’ll provide you delicious dishes that will also serve as teaching tools in terms of portion sizes and suggested serving options. This way, you can launch out on your own with full confidence and the knowledge to build a healthful meal in the right quantities. Think of our dishes as delicious “reinforcers” that make your day-to-day lifestyle a little easier and more manageable. Eventually, we’d love nothing more than for you to learn by example, seeing what’s stored in your fridge and then tackling the grocery store and your kitchen on your own, or with the help of a cooking lesson or two with us. Laura Consoli received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and subsequently spent a year living in Italy where she fell in love with the Italian style of cooking—allowing fresh, flavorful ingredients to speak for themselves. She recently completed professional training at Manhattan’s Institute of Culinary Education. With her culinary and culinary management degrees in hand, she has interned at the esteemed 3 Michelin star restaurant, Daniel, and looks forward to imparting her love for healthy food with fresh, simple ingredients in her cooking for NOURISH @home.
Amelia Coulter, Chef
Amelia Coulter grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and went to art school at SUNY Purchase where she studied sculpture before settling in Brooklyn. She started cooking seriously in college and pursued a career in food along a diverse and passionate (if untraditional) path. Her diverse cooking experience has led her though a cookie factory, an organic catering kitchen, fine dining restaurants, supperclub-style private dinners and a neighborhood soup kitchen. She compulsively researches and is thrilled by all different aspects of food culture, from farms and photography to tools and politics. Amelia keeps occasional musings on a food blog, Marinationwide, and last year founded the design-oriented cookie company Sugarbuilt. Her cooking is fresh, inventive and seasonally-focused to maximize taste, flavor and health.
